About Mrs. Erwin

          Hi! I am Mrs. Shannon Erwin. I was born and raised right here in Brookhaven. I missed home so much that I came back to teach in my home school. I love it here! Although I work here, I live in Hazlehurst, MS. I have two children which are girls. My husband also works in Brookhaven. I also have three dogs as pets.

          As previously stated, I went to Brookhaven Public Schools for K-12 and received a diploma in 1999. ( GO OLE BROOK !).I was also in the band as a drummer during high school. After graduation, I went to Copiah Lincoln Community College and earned an Associates Degree in Elementary Education. I was also in the band at Co-Lin. After that, I was employed by Crystal Spring Elementary School. While being employed there, I went back to school at Jackson State University. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education in 2009. After working a few more years, I went back to school to earn my Master's Degree. I attended National University in California and received a Master's degree in the Arts of Teaching with a specialization of Autism. I currently am in the 6th grade inclusion setting and I love it!
